ABOUT
Laura Di Francesco is an Italian illustrator and Digital Product Designer whose work moves between the visible and the invisible — where form meets feeling, and every detail tells a story.
She studied Visual Arts and Illustration at the Fine Art Academy in Rome, and later specialized in Motion Design at Hyper Island in Stockholm, blending classical training with a contemporary visual language.
Her creative journey has crossed borders and disciplines. After years in Sweden as Design Lead for Devoteam and IKEA — shaping digital experiences rooted in empathy and clarity — Laura now brings her poetic vision to both visual design and illustration on an international scale.
She currently works as Senior Illustrator and Graphic Designer for Imprint, a learning platform based in New York, and collaborates with Djeco, the beloved French toy company, creating playful, narrative-rich universes for children.
As an author and illustrator of children’s books, Laura has published her work in Scandinavia, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Her illustrations are whimsical, dreamlike, and quietly surreal — a blend of Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese subtlety, always warmed by an unmistakable Italian sensibility. A Japandi soul with a Mediterranean heart.
Laura’s illustrations invite the viewer into a space of quiet wonder — a place where color whispers, lines breathe, and imagination is never far from home.
